Miss Can Small Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Crushed Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 tins Small Sardines in Tomato Sauce
  • 8 Potatoes, for boiling
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 5 Allspice Berries
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • ¼ cup Cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

For crushed potatoes- boil potatoes in salty water over low-medium heat. Bring water to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Drain and cool the potatoes, remove the skin and roughly crush them with your hands. Drizzle the potatoes with the olive oil and garnish with the cilantro.

Add salt to taste. Serve along with the sardines and the sauce in the tin.
